Yard waste is collected weekly from late spring to early winter. Yard waste must be set out by 7:00 am on your collection day, or as early as 4:00pm the day before. Place yard waste materials in approved paper yard waste bags or 50-gallon or less barrels. Bags and barrels should not exceed 50 lbs. Do not use the City Trash or Recycle carts for yard waste.
Yard waste consists of leaves, grass, plants, shrub prunings and twigs or branches 4 feet or less in length and less than 6 inches in diameter. Multiple branches should be bound together with string or twine.
Do not include food, soil, rocks, large limbs, or trash. Yard waste is not accepted in plastic bags.
